Series 6 Trailer for CBBC

Younger Doctor Who viewers have been treated to a slightly different Series 6 trailer this week as a new edit of the trailer appeared on CBBC.

Much shorter than the trailers you might already be familiar with, various “disturbing” elements have been cut out.

What this might been to the episodes themselves isn’t clear. Perhaps the BBC are working on the assumption that Doctor Who is watched by families and CBBC is watched by children without their parents present, but this difference in the trailers and the previous trailer airing later in the evening continues to suggest that Doctor Who might be restored to the 7pm timeslot it enjoyed from 2005-2008.
