Off the Shelf DVDs?

Doctor Who Revisitations IIThose of you who pre-ordered your Revisitations 2 DVD box set or went to HMV to get it, you’ll now be enjoying the sweet remastering and extras that make for fascinating new insights into some classic Doctor Who stories.

Those of you who went elsewhere, such as your local supermarket, may have been slightly disappointed, and you may have noticed a lack of the box set on the shelves, where it should have been sat waiting for you to throw at the checkout counter so you can race home to discover new and interesting things about your favourite show.

It seems that the box set, which includes the stories The Seeds of Death, Carnival of Monsters and Resurrection of the Daleks has had a small distribution problem.

Posting on Twitter, the social networking site, 2|entertain explained:

“2e is sorry to hear that fans have encountered problems purchasing the latest CDW release Revisitations 2…Although available through online retailers and HMV the release was not stocked by any supermarkets… 2e continues to seek the broadest distribution possible for CDW releases… and will be ensuring that sufficient stock is available instore and online to meet demand in the future.” (message ENDS) :-)”

Unfortunately these things will happen from time to time and it can be a real pain and we at Kasterborous feel the pain of anyone who has not been able to get their hands on this (quite frankly brilliant) box set. However you can find lots of online retailers such as Play.com , Amazon (where you will find it for just £29.93) or DVD.co.uk that should be able to process your order in a relatively speedy manor!

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
