It’s the Doctor’s Daughter!

Brace yourselves, Kasterborites, as we wish David Tennant and lovely Georgia Moffett – plus their families – the very best congratulations for their brand new baby girl!

Why “brace”? Well, it gets a bit confusing, doesn’t it, with a recent Doctor dating the daughter of a former Doctor (Peter Davison) who once played the recent Doctor’s daughter, to whom she has now born a daughter, Olive (or Olivia, depending on which newspaper you read).

With me so far? Although there have been rumours for many months in Whovian circles, the news does seem to have taken a few people by surprise.

According to the celebrity-focussed Daily Mail:

“Georgia and David could not be happier,” a source said. “Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon.

“They did very well in keeping everything very nearly private and keeping things under wraps. Georgia was a lot more pregnant than people thought when the news first broke.”

It’s great news, isn’t it? A lovely, real-life story to top off a week of trailers, podcasts and magazine launches!

  1. If little Olivia grows up to marry Matt Smith’s yet-to-be-born son and THEY had a baby the universe will most likely implode from so much concentrated Doctor Who DNA in one living being.

    Congratulations!
