Are You Ready for the Moon?

Let’s face it – the Silence, the astronaut, the the pregnancy, the “death” – we don’t quite know what was happening in The Impossible Astronaut.

Luckily at least one of the above is set to be answered in Day of the Moon on Saturday, and thanks to this TV trailer aired on BBC America we get a nice hint of the things that are to come…

According to our sources, Day of the Moon airs 6pm on BBC One this Saturday, April 30th, and at 8/9c on BBC America.

although some folks are assuming that those aliens are “the silence” when they haven’t been given a name yet….

    they are very cool though….

I believe The Silence is the official name, though. The actor who played the one who talked to Amy is credited as “The Silent” in the closing credits of I.A. (not exactly the same, I agree, but close). And both Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have referred to The Silence in interviews. Not to mention the numerous references in Series 5 to you-know-what falling.

Back to the trailer – at first glance it looks like the soldiers are aiming at the Pandorica!
