“Vincent et le Docteur”

This week’s Doctor Who fun on France 4 kicks off at 8.35 pm with “Vincent et le Docteur” – better known to the rest of us as the Nebula Award-nominated Vincent and the Doctor.

Followed by “Le colocataire” (The Lodger) these episodes make up the two new episodes that are scheduled this weekend, with “Le Prisonnier Zéro” (The Eleventh Hour) returning for a repeat viewing at 10.05 pm.

It isn’t clear why the episode is being repeated rather than moving on past The Lodger into The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang; previous weeks have featured 3 episodes per night. However the smart Monet is on the very simple fact that with two episodes left, and a two-parter at that, France 4 are saving them for a season-concluding weekend of Doctor Who wonder next week.

Enjoy the trailer !

(With thanks, as ever, to Aurélie Demonchaux!)
