The Wondercon of Who

The States is getting a myriad of Doctor Who goodness over the next few months, more DVD releases, a brand new magazine – Doctor Who Insider – and recently announced are a few Doctor Who faces from behind the scenes that are going to be appearing at the Wondercon event in San Francisco  on April 3rd 2011.

The panel is made up of Neil Gaiman, Mark Sheppard, Toby Haynes and moderator Chris Hardwick.

Gaiman needs no introduction except to say that apart from the huge body of work that he’s produced for the fantasy and sci-fi world over the last few decades will now be just as well-recognised in the UK for Doctor Who episode he has written for Series 6. Mark Sheppard, who has appeared in The X-Files, CSI: Las Vegas, 24 and Chuck will be talking about his appearance in the first two episodes of Doctor Who’s 2011 series as a character called Canton.

Toby Haynes has directed the last three episodes of Doctor Who including The Pandorica Opens, The Big Bang and A Christmas Carol.

Wondercon will be an amazing event for not only Doctor Who fans but for everyone with an interest in television shows, comic books and movies.
