In a recent interview with Big Download, BBC Worldwide’s Executive Vice President of Digital Entertainment Robert Kashak revealed that Doctor Who: The Adventure Games is set to be released in other overseas territories.
The games – which kicked off last year with City of the Daleks and regularly featured Nick Briggs, Barnaby Edwards and Sarah Douglas alongside stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillan – were developed by SUMO Digital and made available via the BBC Doctor Who site in the UK and Direct2Drive.com worldwide.
When quizzed on the success of the titles overseas, Kashak revealed:
We don’t release sales numbers, but I will tell you that we’re bringing the game to multiple distribution partners in the coming months to ensure every single fan outside the UK can play the game.
Interesting stuff – of which you’ll find more of in the full interview over at Big Download.
