Cornell Nominated for Eagle

One-time Doctor Who scriptwriter who is now riding high in the UK comics industry Paul Cornell is nominated for an Eagle Award this year, and you have a few days left still to vote!

Beyond countless novels, Ninth Doctor classic Father’s Day (2005) and Tenth Doctor classic Human Nature/The Family of Blood, the genial Paul Cornell (always a guaranteed chat at conventions and events!) has been working on a range of comic book titles over the past few years, most notably Captain Britain and MI: 13, Knight and Squire, Batman & Robin and is also the current ongoing writer of Action Comics.

Now we wouldn’t want you heading over to the Eagle Awards website – the home of the UK’s biggest comic strip/book awards which has been running since 1977 – just to vote for Paul because he brought us some cracking Doctor Who episodes.

But if you admire Paul’s work and have enjoyed any of his comics in the last 12 months – and there must be a lot of you – then hot-foot it over to the Eagle Awards website today and cast your vote!
