RTD: “Torchwood Never Went Away”

The BBC News pages caught up with Russell T Davies in Cardiff recently to discuss the writer and creator of Torchwood’s latest project.

Referring to events all the way back to the very first episode of Torchwood and how this affects the overall feel of the show, Davies confesses that for him, “Torchwood never went away” – despite fans waiting for the show to return, it seems that a lot of work went into securing the deal with Starz.

An “urban thriller with a science fiction element to it”? Sounds like Torchwood.
