More Miracle Day Casting

Reports coming from The Sun newspaper are stating more casting announcements for the upcoming Torchwood: Miracle Day 10 part epic.

According to the tabloid, Danny Szam, Lena Kaur, and Daniel Adegboyega will be appearing in the fourth series of the show which is currently being filmed in Wales.

Szam was recently in the channel 4 teen drama Skins and Kaur most famously played the character Leila Roy in popular TV soap Hollyoaks. Adegboyega meanwhile has portrayed a character in Spooks so we’ve got three strong actors who certainly know how to chew at the bit when it comes to drama.

Sharon Morgan and William Thomas have also been name-checked to reprise their roles as Gwen Cooper’s mother and father respectively.

The buzz about the three younger actors who are joining the Torchwood fold is very positive indeed and will certainly prove to be interesting as events unfold later this year. The characters they are to play have not been mentioned (although if you listen to rumour, Kaur will be playing one Dr. Alicia Patel) but as soon as we know, you will.

Torchwood: Miracle Day is currently being filmed and will be screened later this year on the BBC in the UK and on the Starz channel in the US.
