Christmas Carol Tracks

Doctor Who - A Christmas CarolWhat?  You’ve become so anxious for Series 6 that you already can’t remember the last Christmas special?

Vomit the retcon and forget no more!  As we originally reported back in December, the soundtrack for A Christmas Carol, featuring yet another round of delightful melodies from Murray Gold, is scheduled to be released in the near future, and the folks at Silva Screen have recently unveiled the cover art and the track listing!  The album image (right) is the by-now familiar shot of Matt Smith as the Doctor, Michael Gambon as Kazran Sardick, and Katherine Jenkins as Abigail Pettigrew all bursting in through an enormous porthole window.

Behold the music tracks!

1. Come Along Pond
2. Halfway out of the Dark
3. Pray for a Miracle
4. Geoff
5. You Didn’t Hit the Boy
6. Fish
7. Kazran Sardick 12 1/2
8. Ghost of Christmas Past
9. Babysitter
10. Talk About Girls
11. Sonic Fishing
12. Just a Little One
13. Big Colour
14. I Can’t Save Her
15. The Other Half’s Inside the Shark
16. Abigail
17. He comes every Christmas
18. Shark Ride
19. New Memories
20. Holding Hands
21. Christmas Dinner
22. Goodlucknight
23. Goodnight Abigail
24. This Planet Is Ours
25. Ghost of Christmas Present
26. The Course of my Life
27. Ghost of Christmas Future
28. Abigail’s Song (Silence is all you Know)
29. Everything Has to End Some Time

Track 28, “Abigail’s Song,” is of course performed by Kasterborous Hall of Fame inductee Jenkins, although it’s not clear whether her solo designed to soothe a dying shark will also be present.  If it’s there, it’ll probably be around track 15 or 16, judging from the order of the list.

Our original article stated that the soundtrack for A Christmas Carol would be released this month, but it has been delayed to March 21st; however you can still pre-order on Amazonfor £8.99!
