Torchwood Production Tweets!

In existence partly due to the recent Twitter and Facebook fake accounts that have been popping up, a new, proper, official (we mean it this time!), BBC-confirmed Torchwood Twitter page has been teasing via tweeting from the set in celebration and promotion of the beginning of production of this summer’s Torchwood: Miracle Day!

The premiere tweet, posted Monday morning:

“Day 1. First shot 8:01am. Coffee pots are bottomless today.”

A little bit later:

“Russell [T. Davies] and Julie [Gardner] are here today to oversee filming and attend concept meetings for EP 2 & 3. We LOVE them!”

You’d better love them, you anonymous Torchwood crew member writing these tweets.  You’d be out of a job if it weren’t for them!  The excitement increases with this update from yesterday:

“The moment we’ve all been waiting for… John Barrowman is en route.”

And speaking of Torchwood actors, one other message from yesterday suggests that we have at least one superb new cast member to look forward to…

“Mekhi [Phifer, who plays Rex Matheson] is shooting his scenes today at the hospital. He couldn’t be more perfect for this role. Way to go Mekhi.”

Patrick Riley

About

Patrick has just been murdered and is currently seated on the edge of a lawn chair wondering when this Missy person will stop demanding his autograph. He probably can't tweet from the grave, but you should follow him anyway @10PatrickRiley.
