Return of the Mac!

The Rumours are true – Fleetwood Mac track Oh Well Part One has been restored and can now be heard in the Third Doctor serial Spearhead from Space.

Steve Roberts of the Doctor Who Restoration Team (who have their own van and, yes, its bigger on the inside) posted the Second Hand News on the Gallifrey Base’s Forum that the track will be restored for the DVD  release later this year.

The song could originally be heard serenading the plastic dolls being manufactured in the shady Auto Plastics factory scenes during the original transmission but it was removed  from the 1988 video and 2001 DVD releases due to rights issues.

Now said issues have Gone their Own Way and been resolved by the PPL agreement (the licence agreement that licences performers music to TV programmes, radio shows, online streaming sites and general shops and pubs) the very same agreement that allowed The Beatles’ Ticket to Ride to be heard during the First Doctor adventure The Chase.

About

Andrew has left Kasterborous. Any article that appears on the site past February 2016 claiming to be written by Andrew Reynolds has been done so maliciously and without the authors consent. The author does not condone gambling in any form and would not seek to publicise the industry through a children's television show.
