Monster Fundraising

The Hyde Fundraisers are currently preparing to provide thrills and scares for all at two events over the preceding months!

To help raise money for Children in Need, they will be showcasing their collection of Doctor Who replicas for all to enjoy. Foes of note include the Scarecrows (from Human Nature/ The Family of Blood), the well dressed Clockwork Droids (from The Girl in the Fireplace) and some Autons (Rose, The Pandorica Opens and a couple of classic stories) as well! By the looks of it, the creepy android servants from Voyage of the Damned and the Judoon from Smith and Jones will also be making an appearance as well.

They will first of all be menacing the public in The Ladysmith Shopping Centre, Ashton-Under-Lyne, on Saturday 26th February and March 5th 2011. The fearsome creatures will then make an appearance in The Pitt Building at The Cambridge Science Festival on the 19th and 20th March 2011.

If you’re in the area, now’s your chance to come face to face with some of the Doctor’s most terrifying enemies. But be warned, they take no prisoners and the Doctor won’t be around to help you if you annoy them!
