Stuck at work on a miserable Monday morning in January? Perhaps some new photos of the lovely Karen Gillan are in order to drag you from your introspection!

Thanks to the BBC we’ve got a nice selection of images of the Amy Pond actress, whose wedding to Rory Williams has so far shown no sign of persuading the Doctor to call her “Williams” as opposed to “Pond”.

It’s nice to see a selection of images that are just of Karen without the Amy Pond baggage – she’s done plenty of photoshoots in her time both before and since Doctor Who and I think you will all agree that Ms Gillan is on very good terms with the camera.
