Earthshock Cyberman Maxi Bust!

From 1982′s Earthshock adventure starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor, this beautifully-sculpted 8″ maxi-bust of the classic 1980s Cyberman design captures one of the Doctor’s most notorious arch-enemies in all his heartless semi-robotic glory.

Standing at 8 inches, these superb busts are made by Titan Merchandise, just like the previously-seen busts of Amy Pond and the Eleventh Doctor.

As you can see from the gallery of images below, this is a great bust that can stand proudly alongside others from the range. At 8 inches they’re 2 inches higher than previously released busts of a Cybus Cyberman, Jabe from End of the World and a Slitheen.

Available for £59.99, these excellent “Silver Giant” busts are available to be preordered for just £49.99 from Forbidden Planet, with dispatch taking place from July 30th, 2011.

Is nice and all but I don’t quite get the point of busts. For that price I could buy a small squad of Cybermen action figures I can pose in ways to recreate classic scenes with other character action figures too. And they have legs!
