Classic Commentary Tweets

Classic Who stars and technicians will be umming, arghing and generally forgetting what they did as they record brand new commentary tracks for potential Doctor Who DVD this year.

Revealed on 2|Entertain’s Classic Series Twitter feed two commentary tracks will be recorded this Sunday in London. Amongst the morning attendees will be original companions William Russell (Ian Chesterton) and Carole Ann Ford (Susan) who’ll be reminiscing over First Doctor adventure The Sensorites.

While occupying the recording booth in the afternoon will be Katy Manning (Jo Grant) and, then assistant floor manager Graeme Harper (er…Graeme Harper) for the Third Doctor tale Colony in Space.

Others are set to add their two cents via the magic of editing at a later date.

Doctor Who Magazine (out this Thursday) has also revealed the complete list of all Doctor Who DVD releases for 2011! All of them! Ladies, Gentlemen- start clearing shelf space!

About

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
