Ark Art & TweetView

A couple of brief updates from the world of classic Who this morning – first, enjoy the image you’ll find to the immediate right of this text.

If you can’t tell by looking at it, it’s the box art for 2entertain’s February DVD release, otherwise known as the William Hartnell story The Ark.  Doesn’t it just put you in the mood to watch some First Doctor frenzy?

Too bad, because you’ll have to watch Tom Baker’s The Horror of Fang Rock first.  With everyone on Twitter.  Or at least all the cool people there.

Confused?  Don’t be.  Just grab a copy of the aforementioned Fourth Doctor tale, stay up late and press the play button on Friday (well, technically early Saturday) the 14th at exactly 12:30 AM (7:30 PM if you’re in the eastern part of United States, the area this particular event was timed for) and tweet away to your fellow Whovians about the happenings of the story using the hashtag #cdwfang!  If you don’t know what a hashtag is, get a Twitter account and you’ll find out – and while you’re there, follow @kasterborousdw!

2entertain calls online Doctor-watching sessions such as this TweetView; it sounds like a brilliant idea and it’s their second time trying it, which means it must have worked the first time.  Why not give it a go?

Follow 2entertain’s tweets about about classic Doctor Who @classicdw.

Patrick Riley

Patrick has just been murdered and is currently seated on the edge of a lawn chair wondering when this Missy person will stop demanding his autograph. He probably can't tweet from the grave, but you should follow him anyway @10PatrickRiley.
