The Mazes of Time Screenshots

BBC Worldwide have released two screenshots from Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time.

Previewed at BBC Worldwide HQ last Thursday the game, developed by Tag Games, and written by Oli Smith (Doctor Who: Return to Earth, Nuclear Time) will be released on iPhone, iPod Touch, and as a an iPad store App this December.

But take heed non iOS system users according to this poster, seen decking the various venues of Doctor Who Live, the game will also be released on Android as well.

The early shots look impressive, with the Doctor and Amy apparently freeing several people with the Daleks stalking after them which, in a massive coincidence, is exactly what the game is about; our heroes attempt to rescue an innocent family after a Dalek attack.

Players will tackle puzzles and action as they switch between controlling either of the TARDIS duo (poor Rory, he never gets to play!)

Looking forward to the game? Let us know below and keep an eye out for our review of the game – coming soon!

About

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
