Dumbledore’s Socks

Dare I tell you that Doctor Who star Matt Smith has confessed that he is inspired by Dumbledore’s socks?

Or is it just one step to far in the insane constant promotion of A Christmas Carol, set for broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD on Christmas Day at 6pm?

Smith has recently revealed that he has been inspired to wear brightly coloured socks by the Harry Potter star who plays Kazran Sardick in the Doctor Who special.

‘I was at the National Theatre doing a play and Michael Gambon was there doing Falstaff.

‘Every day he would have the most brightly coloured socks and that is the reason why I wear them too. The brighter the better!’’

Well, what’s good for the Gambon, is good for the gangler…
