Christmas Special Clips on BBC Promo

The latest one minute promo for the BBC’s Christmas line up has been released, with a heavy focus on Doctor Who as one of the Christmas Day events!

Featuring a myriad of other shows (other shows?…OTHER SHOWS?!) such as Eastenders and Casualty, Doctor Who is shown as one of the “big players” of the Beeb’s chrimbo line up.

Whilst the clips they’ve included don’t show any new scenes from A Christmas Carol, they’re certainly enough to get you excited for Christmas Day!

The Doctor Who Christmas Special has been a huge part of the BBC’s 25th December broadcasts since 2005 and each year has given us a fantastic festive episode with our favourite Time Lord. This is the first special to not feature David Tennant since the series’ return but it’s looking to outdo all of them in one swoop and the plot sound absolutely brilliant!

Tune in on Christmas Day to find out what trouble the Eleventh Doctor and his friends have got themselves into this year!

A Christmas Carol will be broadcast on 25th December 2010 in the UK and the following day in the USA.

Meanwhile if you’re looking forward to A Christmas Carol don’t forget to take part in our Christmas Doctor Who Poll!

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
