The Faults of Past Time

If you’re in North America and you’ve purchased Doctor Who: Series 4 – The Specials on iTunes, READ THIS!

Disc 1 Track 9, “The Greats of Past Time”, which was first heard during the moment in The Next Doctor that featured the multi-Doc info-stamp montage, is faulty on iTunes in the United States and Canada, according to Silva Screen:

“iTunes have been made aware of the problem and are currently working on fixing the audio.”

But don’t let this put a damper on your upcoming holidays!  If you’ve already purchased the iTunes album for yourself or a loved one, you can find a link to download the fixed track at the Silva Screen Blog!  Meanwhile, if you’re planning on purchasing the album digitally but have not already done so, here’s where it is on iTunes ($19.99 USD).  You may want to wait a couple more days for iTunes to sort out the issue, unless you don’t mind downloading the fix mentioned above separately.

Can you believe it’s been almost two years since The Next Doctor, the 2008 Christmas special, aired?  To think, in just a few days’ time, many Whovians would for the first time hear the name Matt Smith, as his casting as the real next Doctor was announced on 3rd January 2009.  Speaking of Matt Smith and Christmas specials, he’ll be doing one (or two) of those this year!  Watch this space for broadcast times.

About

Patrick has just been murdered and is currently seated on the edge of a lawn chair wondering when this Missy person will stop demanding his autograph. He probably can't tweet from the grave, but you should follow him anyway @10PatrickRiley.
