Rascally raconteur and Fourth Doctor Tom Baker has made a recording of his debut fictional novel The Boy Who Kicked Pigs available for £7.95 from www.silksoundbooks.com.
Read by Tom himself the gruesome, darkly humorous tale concerns a troublesome boy who has a nasty habit of kicking pigs- causing havoc in his community.
The book released in 1999 was illustrated by David Roberts whose black ink sketches reflect the bizarre world of Robert Caligari, the boy antihero of the story. Some of these illustrations feature in the download.
Baker’s only other foray into the literary world is his fabulous autobiography Who on Earth is Tom Baker? which is available for £4.78
The print version of The Boy Who Kicked Pigs is his only foray into fiction and is currently available on Amazon for £3.70.

Slightly out of date news I think! I saw that on CD several years ago. It was released by BBV, Bill Baggs company and had an interview with Tom on disc 2. Assume this is some kind of reissue?
