Christmas Doctor Who in Canada

Right then, all you overseas Doctor Who fans who just can’t wait to watch the Christmas special, A Christmas Carol, fear not-the wait won’t be that long. If you’re residing in the USA or Canada.

The Canadian channel SPACE has confirmed that the 2010 special will be broadcast on Sunday, 26th December 2010. That’s only a day’s wait!  Like BBC America, SPACE are planning a Doctor Who marathon as part of their “12 Days of SPACE-MAS” which will kick-off at a very early 3am ET on Saturday, 25th December with David Tennant’s adventure The Christmas Invasion.

Recently, BBC America announced that it would be showing A Christmas Carol on Christmas Day at 9:00 pm ET, hopefully just an hour or two after the UK broadcast, the time of which is still to be confirmed.

So not long to go now then, December is just around the corner and before you know it, brand spanking new Doctor Who for the whole world to enjoy at more or less the same time. Hooray!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
