More Four Doctors Details

Christmas is fast approaching (only a few weeks to go, still-time and tide melts the snowman) and all you Big Finish subscriber are in for a lovely treat courtesy of the company.

The Four Doctors will be the free release that subscribers receive this year and the first tantalising trailer has been posted online for you to get your teeth into.

Starring Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann as the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Doctor it also has Nicholas Briggs voicing the return of an old enemy…the Daleks! The story follows the various Doctors temporal entanglement with the metal meanies and also a new race called the Jariden. Big Finish describes the story as:

“A rip-roaring battle through time that may well make you feel like your mind has been sucked through the Time Vortex.”

And having listened to the first teaser trailer myself, they’re not fibbing!

If your Big Finish subscription includes the December 2010 release, The Demons of Red Lodge, then you will receive The Four Doctors for free. If you subscribe to 12 CD/download service from the company and this does not include The Demons of Red Lodge then you can still select The Four Doctors as your free single CD release as all subscribers are entitled to one.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
