Cast of Gold

Doctor Who Series 5 SoundtrackRadio Free Skaro have chitted and indeed chatted with musical boffin and all-round genius Murray Gold in their latest podcast.

Kicking in at 24:27 of Cast 223# Murray, The Planet of Gold sees Murray, the composer of every single note heard in the regenerated series, commenting on his surprising anonymity considering the show’s popularity, cocking up at the Doctor Who Prom, the all-change for Series 5 and just how will he cope with the earthshattering climax/hiatus for Series 6?

Along with the natter is a recap of the weeks news (but why would you need that, when you have our shiny, lovely website?) reviews of  the latest The Sarah Jane Adventure erh…adventure The Empty Planet and various opinions from the Three Who Rule.

Released on the 8th November the Doctor Who Series 5: The Soundtrack (see here for the track listing) can be picked up for just £8.95 from Amazon.com.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
