Whowhere Man

What’s your favourite John Lennon song? Do you favour Jealous Guy over Imagine? Or maybe you feel Strawberry Fields Forever is better than I am the Walrus, in your opinion.

Whatever your song of choice may be, you can now vote for it on the Liverpool Echo’s website, where they are celebrating the 70th anniversary of Lennon’s birth this week. Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith has already made his choice stating:

“Ahhhh Lennon…my word John Lennon. Where to start?.. Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds for the invention, or his parts on A Day in the Life because that’s my fave Beatles song.”

How apt that two of Lennon’s most surreal songs should also ignite a spark within professional oddball Matt Smith (splendid fella but clearly as mad as his on screen counterpart!).

The list of Lennon songs in full that you can vote for is as follows:

In My Life

Nowhere Man

Give Peace a Chance

Merry Xmas (War is Over)

Jealous Guy

Instant Karma

The Ballad of John and Yoko

Working Class Hero

Beautiful Boy

Strawberry Fields Forever

Whatever Gets You Thru The Night

Watching the Wheels

I Am The Walrus

Norwegian Wood

Cold Turkey

Starting Over

You can also specify any other songs that you want to vote for that are not on the list. Head over to now to register your vote. You can either side with Matt on his choice of songs or go against the Eleventh Doctor. Be warned, he’s a formidable opponent!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!

Was this article written by `Phil Space’? Why not ask Matt about his favourite toilet paper and why he prefers it to other brands ?
    On second thoughts………

  2. We can only report what’s out there, Krumstets – however inane.
