Matt Smith’s Excitement!

Matt Smith spoke to Digital Spy backstage at the Doctor Who Live launch on Friday, and he’s full of enthusiasm for the live show, the Christmas and the 2011 series!

In this short interview, he manages to praise Neil Gaiman, express his excitement about the recent read through of the first two episodes of Series 6/Season 32 as well as describe how weird it is to see your face on a giant screen the same size as a the penalty area on a footbal pitch!

There’s also an interesting description of Vorgenson, Nigel Planer’s character that hosts each of the Doctor Who Live shows.

If you aren’t lucky to catch Matt Smith as the Doctor’s head on a big screen as part of the Doctor Who Live arena tour, don’t forget he’ll be back on our screens on Christmas Day!
