Doctor Who Companion Poll

Ah, the good old Radio Times is again offering Doctor Who fans more tantlising details and previously unheard stories from past and present cast/crew members.

The magazine has been at it again- in the current issue Matt Smith has been discussing who his favourite companion in Doctor Who, plus a run-down on the Doctor’s former companions appearing in this weeks The Sarah Jane Adventures story Death of the Doctor, Elizabeth Sladen and Katy Manning, aka Sarah Jane Smith and Jo Grant.

There is also an exclusive online photo gallery to accompany the story.

The Radio Times is also asking Who fans to again vote for your favourite Doctor Who Companion. Last time Sarah Jane Smith was the queen of companions but will young whippersnappers Amy Pond and Rory Williams usurp her and take the title?

As an incentive, the magazine is giving away two copies of the Limited Edition Doctor Who Series Five Steelbook – one in standard DVD and on on Blu-Ray.

This sexy 6-Disc jumbo steelbook with numbered packaging contains all 13 episodes from series 5, plus a collector’s booklet with foreword from Steven Moffat and four illustrated art-cards.

Unfortunately for those fans living overseas the competition is only open to people over 18 residing in the UK. However, the Limited Edition Steelbook Boxset is available to pre-order now from Amazon for £51.47 for the DVD edition and £58.47 for the Blu Ray edition.

Head over to the Radio Times website  to submit your vote.

The first episode of Death Of The Doctor screens on Monday, 25th October, at 5.15pm on the CBBC channel.

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
