Doctor Cheese

Ever been told off by someone younger than you? Or corrected by them? Doctor Who’s Executive Producer Steven Moffat certainly has and he’s not afraid to talk about it!

Moffat recently revealed that his son had some reservations about the title for episode one of the 2011 series. So much so that Moffat updated his Twitter status with the following:

“Told my son the title of ep 1 of the next run of Dr Who. A pause. ‘I think we can do better, Daddy.’ Then: ‘We need clever. Not cheesy.”

I think we’re beginning to see who the real brains behind the operation are! For those of you who don’t remember, Steven’s son also interviewed his dad earlier this year for his thoughts about the season finale The Big Bang and what he thought about the series, which is a wonderfully touching piece to watch.

If things continue this way, do not be surprised when the Moffat name reappears in Doctor Who when Steven’s son is all grown up!

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
