Doctor Who Descends on Bristol

The cast and crew of Doctor Who have descended on the populous of Bristol to film scenes for the game changing new series.

Matt Smith and Karen Gillan were spotted huddled in coats between filming night scenes for the Mark Gatiss penned episode four around the very public Waring Housing Estate.

This is the first time a public location has been used by the series 6 team and fans have been busy snapping the stars and the busy crew members- including this video of Matt and Karen leaving the green room to start filming.

Fans not on set have been kept in the loop by Director Richard Clark’s Twitter page, on which he has tweeted a whole song and dance about filming Doctor Who which seems to involve being knackered 80 per cent of the time and elated for the rest.

About

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
