Barrowman in the Park

Torchwood and Doctor Who star John BarrowmanDon’t worry John – we haven’t forgotten you! It seems like ages since we featured news about John Barrowman (in fact the last time was August 23rd!) but his legion of fans out there might like to be reminded that the showman is appearing at the Proms in the Park in Salford, Manchester!

The event takes place on Saturday 11 September at Buile Hill Park, where gates open at 4pm, and performances start at 6.30pm. Tickets for the whole evening – where Barrowman will be joined by world class mezzo soprano Juliette Pochin, Salford’s own opera sensation Jon Christos and the award-winning BBC Philharmonic – are priced at just £20 so we recommend booking now to avoid disappointment.

It seems that we can continue to expect appearances from Barrowman on stage and screen for the rest of 2010 – Torchwood Series 4 doesn’t begin production until early 2011.
