Matt Smith has a fine house, a very, very, very fine house (though no news as yet on how many cats he has in his yard.)
The actor rented the £8,500 a month property in Barry Island (which is in Sweden for all you stalkers out there) after finding it on a location recce.
A source said:
“Matt used to use a flat in Cardiff. But he’s found this new place because Daisy will be spending a lot of time with him.”
‘Daisy’ is in fact not gorgous British fashion model Daisy Lowe whom the press have linked to the Doctor Who star but an 18th century Harpsichord (are you sure about this? -Ed) that Smith takes everywhere with him.
The insider added that the property is perfect for the ‘loved up’ couple, adding;
“It will be their retreat, although they will invite the gang down to party.”

I think I’d take the harpsichord bit with a grain of salt, personally! But part of me hopes it’s true! And if it is true, someone needs to let Moffat know because the idea of a mad Doctor playing the harpsichord in the TARDIS is just too good to pass up!
I’ve heard Matt is quite musical. He’s known for having an acoustic guitar on set which he plays to amuse folk. Then of course there is his appearance with Orbital at Glastonbury. Now how about Matt does a cover of Jon Pertwee’s “Who is the Doctor” for Xmas?
£8.500 per month in Barry island? You have got ot be kidding. I can imagine a top property in London charging that..but Barry Island?
