More Christmas Cast Revealed

The latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine has revealed the names of other cast members from the 2010 Christmas episode, which also features Michael Gambon, Katherine Jenkins and Danny Horn.

Doctor Who Christmas special 2010 guest Katherine JenkinsArdent fans will recall that Dumbledore actor Gambon, sweet Welsh songbird Jenkins (pictured) and the unknown Horn have been filming the Christmas special with stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, with Jenkins recently announcing via Twitter that her part in filming was complete.

Laurence Belcher (Little Dorrit) and Leo Bill (Steven Moffat’s 2007 series Jekyll) will appear opposite Matt Smith and Karen Gillan as the Doctor and Amy, while Micah Balfour (of The Bill) and Pooky Quesnel (Criminal Justice, EastEnders) will also feature in the festive episode. Bailey Pepper (Guess with Jess) will also appear.

The episode has been labelled “Father Who” although in truth the title is yet to be revealed – it is worth bearing in mind however that Toby Haynes will be directing Steven Moffat’s “most Christmassy Christmas” script; Haynes previous directed The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang.
