Forum News

Regular visitors might have noticed a problem with the Kasterborous Doctor Who Forum over the last 24 hours – so we’d just like to provide an update.

At present, the forum has an error, the cause of which is still unclear. After an initial fix on Sunday lunchtime, the forum software is now unable to display any posts.

I’d like to make clear to our community that every effort is being made to resolve this issue.

I’m currently in discussion with some experts on this particularly forum software in order to find a way around the issue and hopefully apply a fix. Meanwhile, on a related note, fixing this issue is holding up development work on another portion of Kasterborous, so this fault is doubly galling.

If we’re unable to find a fix for this error before Tuesday lunchtime, a backup from Sunday 15th August will be restored. This is a regrettable measure, but we may be left with little alternative.
