The Definitive Villains

The Guardian’s Data Blog, inspired by the work of xxnapoleansolo on Many Eyes, has published a definitive list of every Doctor Who villain.

The list contains every enemy to appear in the show since 1963 (although it excludes the audio books, books and spin off media) and could serve as a handy tool to see who just might put in a reappearance in a forthcoming series.

Already fans have been commenting on inaccuracies and absentees (What! No Zarbi!) so don’t let us down; let the pedantry begin!

Everyone has a favourite Doctor and mine - just for his honesty, his fairness and his ability to not notice the Master's awful, awful disguises/anagrams (Sir Gilles Estram!?!) - has to be the Fifth Doctor, Peter Davison. The stories didn’t serve him as well as his acting served those stories.
