Sophie Aldred @ Vworp 3

Former Doctor Who companion Sophie Aldred is among the guests at this weekend’s Vworp 3 event, in which she’ll be talking about her 6 favourite things about the show.

Former Doctor Who companion Sophie AldredSophie was first seen as Ace in 1987’s Dragonfire, and replaced Bonnie Langford’s Mel as the Seventh Doctor’s companion. Ace quickly became a popular character, with Sophie and Sylvester McCoy forming a memorable Doctor-companion combination, possibly the strongest of the 1980s.

In more recent years Sophie has reprised her role as Ace for Big Finish, and on Sunday at the PubCon Vworp 3 event she’ll be chatting with Charlie Ross about the six things she loves about Doctor Who.

For more information, visit www.thelass.co.uk and to purchase tickets to the event, click  www.wegottickets.com.

We’re profiling each of the guests throughout the week, and I’ll be at the event myself as scientific technical adviser, streaming and live-tweeting this Sunday, July 18th!
