Doctor Who executive producer Steven Moffat has revealed that he receives hate mail from a David Tennant fan.
Moffat was speaking via Twitter, the micro-blogging service available on PCs, mobiles and games consoles.
David Tennant announced his decision to leave Doctor Who in 2008, although apparently wobbled in his decision to leave when Moffat tried to convince the Tenth Doctor actor to stay.
Apparently Steven Moffat is targeted by a sole David Tennant fan, to general bewilderment.
“I don’t get much hate mail, but when I do it’s always from a lady David Tennant fan. Why?
“He’s a mate of mine and everything!”
Tennant last appeared in The End of Time, Part 2 on New Year’s Day, and is currently filming romantic comedy Decoy Bride.

tennent fangirls…
DT having moved on, now all that one can do is note his last appearance and what he’s doing now. Regardless of how great any former Doctor was, he’s now “old news” and that’s really how it goes with DW. It’ll be the same with Matt when he’s gone.
“That David Tennant, he….he used to have something to do with Doctor Who, didn’t he? Did a Big Finish or something?”
Wonder how he’s doing these days, if he’s missing it a lot, maybe thinking he should have stayed one more year? One wonders what direction Moffat would have gone had he stayed. Since that ship has sailed, I wonder if Steven would say?
