Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes?

Steven Moffat has appeared on alongside playwright Mark Ravenhill on BBC Two’s Newsnight to talk about the new Sherlock TV series and Doctor Who.

Little is revealed about the shows but it is an interesting conversation that looks into the parallels between the two shows main character’s of Sherlock Holmes and the Doctor.

The pair also discuss the gay following that Doctor Who has and if it’s the same for Sherlock.
