Your Very Own TARDIS!
The assembled hoards of Genghis Kahn couldn’t get through that door, but maybe you can! That’s right, if you have a mere £8,000 to £12,000 worth of change resting forgotten under your sofa cushion, you’ll probably be able to afford the Eccleston-era TARDIS, to be put up for auction on Wednesday, 23rd June from 9 to 10 AM at Bonhams’ Entertainment Memorabilia auction in London!
Or, if you’ve only got £2,000 to £3,000 to spare, perhaps you would prefer a Dalek. But keep in mind that this isn’t just any Dalek… it’s the oldest one known to have survived, having appeared in Peter Cushing’s Doctor Who and the Daleks and 1965′s The Chase! Alternatively, you can get this battered model, parts of which were used in 1967′s The Evil of the Daleks, for about the same price.
Fancy the thought of being a Cyberman as well? All you need to do to look like one yourself is to shell out £1,500 to £2,000 for this suit and £3,000 to £4,000 for a helmet from Moonbase and Tomb of the Cybermen! Very reasonable indeed for such an important piece of Doctor Who history.
A multitude of other lots featuring props, costumes, and artwork related to Doctor Who awaits the lucky buyers who show up for Wednesday’s auction, including a Dalek Guard suit, a TARDIS console, and even a replica K-9 or two. If you’re filthy rich and have the means to be in Knightsbridge next week, don’t miss this opportunity to be the proud owner of some significant artifacts of the Whoniverse!
