Vincent and the Doctor Preview

Doctor Who continues this Saturday night with Tony Curran and Bill Nighy guesting in Vincent and the Doctor

Doctor Who - Vincent and the DoctorTerror lurks in the cornfields of Provence, but only a sad and lonely painter can see it, as the time-travelling drama continues with an episode written by Richard Curtis.

Amy Pond finds herself shoulder to shoulder with Vincent Van Gogh, in a battle with a deadly alien.

The Doctor is played by Matt Smith and Amy by Karen Gillan, and Vincent and the Doctor can be seen at 6.40pm on BBC One and simulcast on the BBC HD channel, found through Freesat 108, Freeview 50, Sky 143 and Virgin 108.

Meanwhile BeehiveCity seem to be attempting to be intentionally controversial by suggesting that Curtis is the wrong man for a “nepotism” job:

“…surely Curtis should have been given an earlier episode to ‘play with’ rather than allowing him to stick his big cheesy pen into the death throws of an excellent and gripping series of the show?”

Although I guess if that article was linkbait, blogger Tim Glanfield has been successful…

The accompanying image comes via the BBC – watch out for a larger gallery later this afternoon.
