Fantasy writer and 2011 Doctor Who script writer Neil Gaiman has revealed that his episode of the next series will appear early in the series run.
Following months of rumours, the man behind modern fantasy classics such as Stardust and Neverwhere was finally confirmed as a writer on the next series of Doctor Who back in February.
Speaking on Twitter, Gaiman revealed:
“I think I’ll finish this draft of DR WHO (New season 6 episode 3) tonight. A day ahead of schedule. Heavy lifting, but it’s faster & better!â€
Despite throwing himself into the episode, Gaiman later Tweeted:
“Not going to do a final readthrough tonight, as I have a 1 hour Twitter Interview tomorrow at 4 UK time @waterstones. bit.ly/axVrIl for infoâ€
Should be interesting if they get a deluge of Doctor Who-related questions…

What is this DR WHO of which he speaks? Tis of little significance really, it’s brilliant that we’re being treated to an episode penned by such a craftsman. Hasn’t this series flown by? Here we are discussing the next series already. Bring it on!
