It used to be that school fairs were just wasp covered cupcakes, hook-a-duck and half inflated bouncy castles not the stomping ground of metallic harbingers of doom.

However, Addington School in Wokingham have just that – a full size Dalek.

The fair, which takes place on Saturday, 19th June, will also give people the chance to share some quality time with a snake, a blue-tongued skink or bearded dragon, alongside the usual bouncy castle, hook-a-duck, tombola and refreshments for all the wussy kids too afraid to face down the enemy of the Time Lords.

Proceedings run between 1pm and 4pm.
