Doctor Who returns this week as the Time Lord takes Amy and her fiancée Rory to Venice for a romantic weekend before their wedding – only to encounter a vampire threat…
Starring Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and Arthur Darville as Rory, the episode also features Helen McCrory (notably Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter films) as Rosanna Calvierri.
The Vampires of Venice airs on BBC One at the earlier time of 6.00pm on Saturday, 8th May (this might explain why) and is written by Toby Whithouse (2006’s School Reunion and of course the creator of Being Human).

Trailer looked good but I had to turn it off at some point because unless the episode is going to be 4 hours long, we may have seen the entire show. For some reason, it really seemed like they were showing a ton of stuff in that trailer, major lines, jokes, scenes, etc.
