Doctor Who star Karen GillanAs expected highlight of the Steven Moffat era of Doctor Who is Vincent and the Doctor – written by hugely successful comedy writer Richard Curtis, the adventure is set to be given a special British Film Institute preview showing early in June.

Set for a preview screening on Wednesday, 2nd June, the episode will be followed by an exclusive Q&A session with Curtis and Amy Pond actress Karen Gillan.

Featuring Tony Curran as Vincent van Gogh, the episode – with the unofficial strapline “saving the world has never been so ginger” – can be seen at the BFI Southbank theatre, and is open to the public, although visitors must be accompanying children.
