Doctor Who Executive Producer and lead writer Stephen Moffat will appear at the three-day Edinburgh Television Festival in August, alongside a host of other influential figures in television – including, bizarrely, TV “personality” Katie Price, reports the BBC.
Moffat – who in the nearest thing the UK has to a “showrunner” role has written half of the episodes of the current run of Doctor Who – will be delivering masterclasses during the event.
Deborah Turness, is the 2010 festival advisory chair:
“In keeping with our times this year’s festival will be a coalition of agenda-setting content that will shape the direction of the industry and inspirational, creative stimulation.
The Edinburgh Television Festival will take place from 27-29 August at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre – find out more at the event’s official website.
