This week’s Doctor Who adventure is The Hungry Earth, the first of a two-part series marking the return of the Silurians, last seen in 1984′s Warriors of the Deep, and first introduced in 1970s The Silurians.

Guest starring Meera Syal and Stephen Moore, The Hungry Earth sees the Doctor, Amy and Rory (Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill) encountering an ambitious drilling project on Earth.
