Cold Blood Preview

“The fire of war is already lit…”

Doctor Who stars Matt Smith and Karen GillanDoctor Who continues this Saturday with Cold Blood, the conclusion to a two part story. Now awoken, The Silurian’s (or Eocene’s or Homo Repitlia) are hell bent on wiping out the stupid apes (their description, not mine) occupying the surface of planet Earth.

It is the most important day in the history of Earth: the dawn of a new age of harmony or the start of its final war.

In the latest episode of the time-travelling drama, written by Chris Chibnall, The Doctor must face his most difficult challenge yet. It is a battle in which he cannot take sides and a day when nobody must die.

With Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and Arthur Darvill as Rory, Cold Blood also features Meera Syal, Neve McIntosh and Steven Moore.

Cold Blood airs on Saturday 29th May on BBC One and BBC HD, starting at the later time of 7pm and running until 7.50pm

About

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
