The Oncoming BlackBerry Storm

BlackBerry Storm in Doctor Who

BlackBerry users are going Doctor Who mad this week following the use of a BlackBerry Storm to save the world in The Eleventh Hour.

With just 20 minutes to save the world, the Doctor used Rory’s Blackberry Storm in the village of Leadworth (in some indeterminate time period, something we really shouldn’t go into just yet…) to create a “virus” that resets every clock on Earth to 0.

While many people noticed the duck pond was free of ducks, few noticed meanwhile that the famous BlackBerry logo was missing from the mobile device – a case of the BBC avoiding product placement, something they didn’t bother with on Geoff’s laptop or in the hospital…

Mick has been writing on and off for Kasterborous since 2006, and when he's not attempting self sufficiency he writes the songs that no one hears (because they are not listening). Currently working on a comic book, Nazis vs Aliens, which requires an artist. Please email [email protected] to discuss.
