Daleks Build Up

The new Daleks are ready in Doctor Who!The return of the Daleks is naturally a huge element of the BBC’s Official Doctor Who site this week, with trailers, teasers and introductions on offer!

While Steven Moffat has offered introductions for The Eleventh Hour and The Beast Below, Mark Gatiss’ Victory of the Daleks makes use of video intros on the BBC site from Matt Smith and Karen Gillan who both seem pretty thrilled with the episode!

Meanwhile, you’ve probably already seen our gallery from Victory of the Daleks – but have you seen the new selection of 8 images from Digital Spy?

Featuring the Doctor, Amy, Churchill, Bracewell and the “Ironsides” the only thing missing is the new Dalek design – but if you haven’t seen the new Radio Times you can catch a glimpse of the politically-charged Daleks on the website for tabloid The Mirror.

Don’t forget also that the Radio Times website has a gallery in which the new Daleks are the centrepiece!

Finally – Daleks were all the rage in Corsham this week as youngsters were charged with finding 7 of them among 50 shop windows in a competition organised by the town’s Chamber of Commerce. Organisers chose a Dalek theme to coincide with the Corsham Sci-Fi day due to take place at 10am this Saturday at the community centre. Well done to young Sophie Sweetlove, Matthew Little and Ben Hunt!

Let’s hope they’re home in time for Victory of the Daleks on Saturday evening at 6.15pm on BBC One!
